The photo below is from "The Bulletin" of the Birmingham Railway Light & Power Co., Birmingham, AL, dated 8/21/1916 where J.T. was Superintendent of Transportation. Under the photo is the following:

Joseph Theodore Hury, born in Columbus, Mississippi, March 8th, 1872. Educated at the Franklin Academy at that place. His first permanent employment and entire work has been in the employment of this Company and its predecessors, having entered the service October 2nd, 1890. Has worked as shopman, motorman, conductor, barn foreman, dispatcher, and in other positions. Was made Chief Clerk, Railway Department, May 6th, 1906. Promoted to Assistant Superintendent, Railway Department, August 10th, 1910. Made Superintendent of Transportation on February 1st, 1914.

Note: Julia married Alexander Hunter Rogers. Katie married Clem Miller.
