of Transportation. Under the photo is the following:
Joseph Theodore
Hury, born in Columbus, Mississippi, March 8th, 1872. Educated at the Franklin
Academy at that place. His first permanent employment and entire work has been
in the employment of this Company and its predecessors, having entered the
service October 2nd, 1890. Has worked as shopman, motorman, conductor, barn
foreman, dispatcher, and in other positions. Was made Chief Clerk, Railway
Department, May 6th, 1906. Promoted to Assistant Superintendent, Railway
Department, August 10th, 1910. Made Superintendent of Transportation on
February 1st, 1914.

Magdalena Hury, born 1860 and Katherine (Katie) Hury, birthdate unknown. Never married:

Henry Rebman Hury, born 1857 in Columbus, MS. Died 1907. Married Minnie Marcus Worrell (1857 - 1937)
Six children: William Henry Hury, Henry Joseph Hury, Leo Bernard Hury, Julia Magdalena Hury, Stella Minnie Hury, and Katie Loretta Hury
Note: Julia married Alexander Hunter Rogers. Katie married Clem Miller.
